Learn more about GA
Fellowship is about sharing experiences of courage, strength and hope and supporting one another in addiction recovery. Developing a fellowship with others can benefit your mental and physical health, particularly as you go through the journey of recovery for an addiction.
The goal in recovery is help you STOP acting out. In fact, the only criteria for membership is the desire to STOP gambling.
We learn to practice the spiritual principles of recovery- acceptance, hope, faith, courage, honesty, patience, humility, willingness, self-love, integrity, self-discipline, and service.
Gamblers Anonymous and the Pressure Relief Group Meeting provide guidance to a member for managing his/her financial affairs based on the experiences of other members. The Pressure Relief Group Meeting is not a substitute for the member to secure professional advice for significant financial and/or legal problems.
